Pretty sure everyone gets a couple days to respond, and the notification works like I wrote about earlier.

The Emory Law class of 2020 Facebook page has been at 229 for a while and has now jumped to 234, so I think we're seeing a wave off the waitlist.

Planning on withdrawing from the regular waitlist either today or Monday. Don't really see the point of staying on the reg one anymore. Best of luck to everyone! May the odds be ever in your favor.

A wave of admissions occurred after the first update email so optimistically a second wave is upcoming.

Thank you for your patience as we continue evaluating our waitlist for Emory Law’s Class of 2020. We anticipate admitting additional students into our Class of 2020, and in the past we have invited applicants into the class as late as the first week of school.

If you took the June LSAT, your score will be updated with us automatically. For academic updates, please send transcripts directly to LSAC. We are no longer accepting continued letters of interest or other additional information, and we will reach out to you individually if we require other updates.

We appreciate your interest in our community.

I never received the first email, but, at least from this forum, those that did were extended an offer. I can only speculate at this point.

I got the e-mail yesterday, too. When did this first e-mail happen? I never got one of those.

I also received the email yesterday, but not the first one. I'm on the regular waitlist and interested to see if this really does mean anything. Fingers crossed!!!!!

Received the email yesterday, did not receive a previous email. Is it confirmed that there WAS a previous or first update email? I am on the regular waitlist, so I am a bit surprised if this actually means something.

EDIT: Ahh, found the post, June 2. First email update confirmed.

I never sent a LOCI. Not sure if I should wait it out.
